John,

In this time of uncertainty, there's a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal.

Whether that's through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries, generosity has been helping the entire world get through this global pandemic. Together.

The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids is participating in GivingTuesday today, the global day of unity and giving.

As you know, protecting kids from the dangers of tobacco use is more important than ever before. Youth e-cigarette use has been at epidemic levels in the U.S., threatening decades of progress.

With the leadership of Bloomberg Philanthropies in supporting our Protect Kids: Fight Flavored E-Cigarettes initiative, we are working tirelessly to reverse the youth e-cigarette epidemic. Thanks to our efforts, five states and over 70 cities have passed laws to end the sale of flavored e-cigarettes –and a growing number have also prohibited other flavored tobacco products. These laws now cover over 80 million people, a quarter of the U.S. population.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, we have set an ambitious goal of raising $25,000 by the end of 2020 to fuel our fight to protect kids and save lives.

We are asking you to stand up for the health and future of our kids by making a donation of at least $50.

With gratitude,

Matt Myers
President

P.S. –  Forward this email to five of your friends and encourage them to join the movement! It only takes a few minutes, but it makes a BIG difference. Together, we can ensure all kids have a healthy, tobacco-free future.
