Fiona was relinquished to the city pound as a five-month-old puppy because she was vomiting and lethargic. She was abandoned, her pain not worth the effort.

She tested positive for parvo virus, a deadly gastrointestinal illness that spreads easily through puppies and young dogs. PAWS took her in to save her life. After two weeks of intensive medical care, including IV fluids, Fiona pulled through! Unfortunately, Fiona’s case isn’t rare, and puppies often need extensive medical support to help them live.
