This week has been a major reminder that unions are just as important now as ever.

Today is the fourth day that UAW members are on strike in Michigan. And now California is about to pass a bill that will support gig-economy workers and their ability to organize.

Maggie has always stood with organized labor. On the campaign trail, she has met with union members across New Mexico and supports these latest fights for workers' rights across the country.

But Maggie doesn't just talk the talk with unions — she walks the walk.

That's why we're proud to announce that Team Maggie has unionized! Our staff has joined the Campaign Workers Guild because we believe that all workers deserve to have their rights protected.

If we don't run this campaign on the values we stand by, we are not changing the system. So we're proud to be the first candidate in this race to have a unionized staff.
