Friend,
Tomorrow, we’re going to be one of many organizations asking for your
support as part of Giving Tuesday.
[ [link removed] ]This year especially there are a lot of worthy causes out there. I want
to talk to you (briefly) about why we’d be humbled for you to make CLCV
part of your Giving Tuesday this year.
I’m sure we can agree that the environment -- clean air, clean water, and
our natural lands -- is at the core of our California identity. It’s who
we are, who we want to be. And I’m sure we can also agree that the next
few years are absolutely critical to ensuring that future generations can
have a healthy California to call home. And we want CLCV to be a big part
of that.
With the elections over, we have a critical path forward to turn our wins
at the ballot box into lasting policy change in Sacramento and Washington,
DC, with climate action as the impetus for a clean and just economic
recovery. Through innovative climate action policy, we can advance racial
justice, protect public health, and create good union jobs at the same
time.
[ [link removed] ]We can’t possibly fight for these ambitious changes without your
support. Which is why we’re asking you to consider a monthly gift of $5
for Giving Tuesday-- because it’s all-hands-on-deck to push for big, bold
climate solutions, both here and in Washington D.C.
Tomorrow, on Giving Tuesday, we’re going to ask you to become a member of
CLCV. Or, if you’re already a member, to dig just a little bit deeper.
We can’t wait for someone else to lead the way to victory for our
environment, for our future.
See you tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Wendy-Sue Rosen
Land Use Consultant and Environmental Advocate
CLCV Development Committee Chair

We believe that radical change is necessary and only by transforming our political system will we create the opportunity to take bold action on climate change. We elect and cultivate environmental champions, turn election victories into policy wins, hold our lawmakers accountable, and build political power for change. We inspire hope and action and fight for equity and justice for all Californians. We are in the business of changing what’s possible.
