December 15th is the deadline to sign up this year for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Even if you have your own health insurance, be sure to talk with your family and friends about this deadline. Health care coverage is critical during this pandemic, so let's do everything we can to make sure everyone knows their options.

And this is infuriating: Donald Trump canceled much of the marketing and outreach that usually goes along with this deadline. He wants the ACA to fail, probably because it was signed into law by President Obama.

Remind your friends and family to visit HealthCare.gov to learn more and sign up.

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it's essential that everyone who needs insurance is able to sign up.

Over the next two weeks, please ask your family and friends this simple question: Do you need health insurance and, if so, have you signed up for the ACA?

We can survive this pandemic by looking out for each other.
