Happy Thanksgiving John!

This season is a season for giving thanks. So I would like to express my gratitude for our doctors, nurses, board members and staffers, especially this year for their tireless work during COVID-19. And, I want to thank everyone throughout Southern California for trusting us as a lung health resource this past year.

On behalf of all of us at Breathe SoCal, I would like to thank the communities we serve for their efforts to help slow the spread of COVID-19. We greatly appreciate the ongoing work of public health officials, county commissioners, mayors, city councils, and countless others who work for the public good. I especially want to thank the people like you who are looking out for others by wearing masks, washing hands, practicing social distancing, and avoiding large gatherings.

This year, when giving thanks, in light of everything going on at home and around the world, please know that even the simplest act of kindness can make a world of difference to those around you.

I challenge each of us to practice a little more kindness and a little more patience this holiday season. Focusing on the positive helps us to remain uplifted.

We are blessed with a community of people like you—people who work hard and respect those around them. We hope you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
From our family to yours THANK YOU for your support!
This holiday season, I would like to personally invite you to join me in sponsoring a Lung Power asthma management workshop. With your help, every family in Southern California that has a child with asthma will have access to information so they can better manage their child’s asthma.

As the father of three young kids with asthma, I know the stress and anxiety that happens when your child is fighting for every breath. I know how I try not to look concerned so my child doesn’t get anxious, which only makes their breathing worse. Supporting this program will mean we can help many more families keep their child out of the ER because they are reducing the frequency of the child’s asthma attacks.

Will you join me by making your most generous gift today?
Thank you for your support as we work to ensure every family in Southern California has the chance to breathe easier.

In Health,
Marc Carrel, President & CEO, Breathe SoCal
