A lot is happening in our country right now.

Our so-called leaders are using new fuel to drum up age-old forms of hate
and sow division among us. From ripping babies away from their parents and
imprisoning families seeking asylum in horrible conditions, to referring
to white supremacists as “very fine people” -- and that’s just from the
President.

It’s easy to feel deterred and defeated by it all. I wanted to remind all
of us to never shy away from doing what’s right and why we fight.

It’s our mission to restore our democracy and begin to heal -- and it
starts with all of us. We all have to fight for our America. An America
where we lift each other up instead of putting people down.
