John -- The cruelty that’s been targeted at families over the last four years is horrific, and I’m sorry to say that the road to recovery will be a long one.
Hundreds of children torn from their parents are STILL no closer to being back in their arms -- three years after being torn apart. Thousands and thousands of families who were separated live with the psychological scars. Communities across the country are still terrorized and torn apart by ICE raids.
It has been intentional and cruel, and Families Belong Together is laser focused on righting every single one of these horrific wrongs and making sure they never happen again. We will not stop until every family is reunited and every horror committed in our name is ended.
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving created to follow Black Friday with an outpouring of support for charities and nonprofits. We need to raise $20,000 by the end of Giving Tuesday so I'm asking: can you support Families Belong Together with a $25 donation right now?

At its core, our work at Families Belong Together is about healing. It's about reuniting families that were cruelly ripped apart at the border -- and making sure that every single child is safe, with the people who love them right now.
It's about welcoming those who come to the U.S. seeking safety and a better life, not locking them away in squalid and dangerous camps where many didn't even have access to soap, a toothbrush, or a bed to sleep on.
It's about speaking out, saying NO to racism, xenophobia, and cruelty, and proving that we're stronger than those who cynically try to use the pandemic to divide us.
And it's about doing it together. Because the only way for us to get through this crisis is by caring for each other, and caring for those who need it most.
