On Monday, it was reported that the new Russian Project 885M Kazan nuclear submarine had successfully hit a target 1,000 kilometers away using a Kalibr cruise missile. The test took place at the Chizha proving ground and was part of the final stage of state trials.

Also on Monday, NATO allies Germany, Greece, Netherlands, and the U.S. concluded the live fire portion of the NAMFI 2020 exercise. The exercise took place at the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) in Crete and involved approximately 500 air and missile defense soldiers and five Patriot systems. Command and control of the live-fire exercise was provided through a secure datalink by the German operation center located in Husum, Germany for the first time.

On Wednesday, it was reported that the Russian Pacific Fleet's latest corvette conducted a launch of an Uran cruise missile against a naval target. This was the first launch of Uran cruise missile by the Aldar Tsydenzhapov corvette.

On Thursday, it was announced that the Russian military test-launched its Tsirkon hypersonic cruise missile. This was at least the third test of the Tsirkon missile this year.

On Monday, it was reported that the Houthi militia had fired a ballistic missile from the city of Amran. The missile landed in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
