The Bureau of Justice Statistics seeks statisticians to carry out statistical collections in criminal victimization, law enforcement, corrections, courts, recidivism, or special projects. Job duties include?
- performing various statistical data collection activities, such as analyzing data, coordinating data collections, and reporting statistical findings from statistical programs
- designing and managing complex statistical data series or major components of a large scale data series?
- ensuring the effective collection of statistical data and the use of appropriate collection systems.
- consulting and collaborating with criminal justice agency representatives
