Hi there,
“It’s been bad enough dealing with climate change deniers. Now we also have to deal with tens of millions of election deniers.”
That’s a quote from a recent op-ed in the Washington Post -- and in our view, the author got it exactly right.
We cannot maintain our democracy if both sides aren’t willing to accept the basic reality of the outcome of an election. And there’s a significant chunk of Republicans who don’t trust the election results and now expect them to be overturned. We can’t have half the population throwing a temper tantrum to get what they want -- especially if what they want is four more years of Trump.
We need to defend our democracy and defend the outcome of the election. We need to show that there are more Americans who trust the electoral process than those who distrust it -- and we need to show it now. Will you help us? Tell us your view:
Do you think the election was free and fair?
