* Continue to protect the electoral process by advancing proactive reforms that protect voting rights in states across the country and making sure gerrymandering and other abuses don't distort the democratic process. Just today our lawyers were at the Supreme Court defending the Census from the Trump administration's latest unconstitutional attack.

* Make meaningful strides to end the police violence that has claimed Black lives for centuries by fighting for a completely reimagined vision of the role, presence, and responsibilities of police in America and a dramatic overhaul of our criminal justice system.

* Demand immediate action on immigrant rights working to reverse cruel and unconstitutional policies – most urgently, we are looking for the families of 666 children who were separated at the border while continuing to press towards fair, humane, and deeply impactful reforms.

* Defend reproductive rights by pushing back state assaults on access to abortion and birth control and driving forward a proactive agenda that can effectively shield reproductive freedom from political interference.

* Fight for LGBTQ equality by refusing to yield until all people can live openly without discrimination and enjoy equal rights, personal autonomy, and freedom of expression and association.

As our nation transitions to a new presidential administration, millions of people are still counting on us – you and the ACLU – to do everything we can to protect people's rights and our democracy, especially in Trump's final months at the White House. We can't let them down.
