Today, the Liberal government will share the Fall Economic Statement with Canadians.

It will be an important reflection of the hard work we need to keep doing together to keep Canadians safe and supported, and how we’ll keep Canada moving forward.

Canadians are counting on us to continue building a country that is healthier and safer, greener, more competitive, and more fair – and with your support I know we can achieve it.

The Liberal team has been making important steps forward in our work to make progress that matters to Canadians, with bold action on health, the economy, the environment, equality and more. Just this fall alone for example, we’ve announced our commitment to ban harmful single-use plastics, we’re moving forward with legislation that bans harmful anti-LGBTQ2 conversion therapy, and we launched the Universal Broadband Fund to help ensure Canadians have reliable internet.

In a minority Parliament though, we can’t take any of our progress for granted, friend. Erin O’Toole has been clear about wanting to "take Canada back." Now is not the time to play partisan games, and we must be focused on working together. With your support, we can stay ready to respond whenever Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives work to roll back the crucial progress we’re making for Canadians.
