Hey -- I know you're busy. And I know a lot of people don't have time to sit down and watch a 2 minute video. But I really hope you'll watch this one:

On a recent trip in Iowa, I told the story of my visit to the small town of Choteau in 2015. This was during the peak of the GOP's continued assault on the Affordable Care Act.
Choteau is a town of 1,700 people. The whole town knew I was coming because the Koch Brothers were nice enough to send a mailer to everyone falsely warning that 'Bullock and Obama are coming to steal your healthcare.'
I showed up anyway. And instead of telling everyone in that room what I thought they needed, I listened.
A hospital administrator said 43% of the people who come into his hospital didn't have health insurance.
The chair of a nearby county commission said the local hospital saved his life when he had a heart attack. He said if that hospital closes, they'd lose his whole town.
Those conversations convinced a local Republican legislator to defy her party, defy the Koch Brothers, and vote to expand Medicaid.
That's the type of story I tell on the campaign trail. A story about how when we show up and listen more than we talk, we can make real progress for all Americans.
But I need your help to keep telling these stories. Our next public fundraising deadline is less than 2 weeks away, and we need to have a huge showing to power our campaign. So please, will you donate today?
