Dear John,

The election is finally behind us. We’ve had some time to celebrate and to breathe sighs of relief.

But the fact is that no matter who’s in office, the National Women’s Law Center is not going to let up in the fight for gender justice—and there is still so much to be done.

That’s why we’re kicking off Giving Tuesday one day early: We’re looking for 200 members of this community to join us with a special early donation before tomorrow to make sure we can hit our budget goals and go big in 2021. If you’re ready to hit the ground running, be one of those 200—make a gift now. [[link removed]]

200 community donors needed. Join now. [[link removed]]

This is no time to slow down. The election didn’t change the fact that essential workers, who are disproportionately Black women and Latinas, are risking their lives in the pandemic without adequate safety equipment or pay. Together, we’re going to keep showing up for them, advocating for the wages they deserve, workplace protections, and a COVID relief package that will center the needs of women of color. Join us before midnight >> [[link removed]]

Abortion access is still under threat in dozens of states, and those state-level fights aren’t going away after the inauguration. To hold the line against efforts in the courts to roll back abortion access and advocate for expanded access to safe, affordable reproductive health care, we need you with us today. Join us and be one of 200 supporters to kick off our Giving Tuesday campaign>> [[link removed]]

And the election won’t change the systemic discrimination faced by girls of color in our schools, where Black girls in particular face much higher rates of suspension and discipline for minor offenses. Together, we’re changing harmful policies and supporting their learning and growth. Join us now >> [[link removed]]

This is all critical work, John. We need 200 committed supporters of gender justice to sign on today with an early donation to kick off our Giving Tuesday campaign and make sure we continue to lead these fights in the new year. Are you ready? [[link removed]] I am so proud to be in this community with you. Thank you for continuing to lead in the fight for gender justice, on Giving Tuesday and every day.

Sincerely,
Jodi Michael
