We've got big plans at KOST 103.5 tomorrow!

For the fifth year in a row, KOST 103.5 FM's Ellen K Morning Show will be kicking off a full day supporting Children's Hospital Los Angeles and encouraging listeners to get involved on Giving Tuesday.

From 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., we'll be talking with the most inspirational, interesting guests, and they'll have some amazing stories to tell about this incredible institution that we're lucky to have in our backyard. We'll be having exciting conversations with patient families, partners and celebrity friends including Jamie Lee Curtis, Justin Herbert, Melanie Griffith, Seal and Danielle Fishel.

Their stories will make you laugh, they'll bring tears to your eyes, and they'll make you think. Most of all, they'll remind you that even when times are challenging, we have the power to make a positive difference for each other.

I'm a huge fan of CHLA, and it's not just because it's the top children's hospital in the Western United States--my son, Calvin, is a former CHLA patient. I know firsthand the all-consuming fear and worry a parent feels when their child is seriously injured or sick. And, I know the lightness and joy that comes from learning that everything is going to be OK. I talk to hundreds of thousands of listeners all over the United States for a living,John-but if I'm being completely honest, I don't know that I have the words to do justice to how incredible that feeling is.

But I do know this--I want EVERY parent of a sick or injured child to experience that same relief and joy. And I believe in my heart that when our community works together, even in the midst of a pandemic, we get just a little bit closer to making that dream possible.

It's so easy to take what CHLA does for granted, but I encourage you to listen in tomorrow from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. to experience a little wonder and get a giant dose of inspiration.
