Americans United for Separation of Church and State

Friend,

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, one of the biggest days of the year for nonprofits like us, who rely on your generosity to fund our work. Here’s what you need to know:

1. A generous group of AU donors has committed to MATCH all Giving Tuesday gifts up to a maximum total of $50,000.

2. We only have until our deadline of midnight tomorrow, December 1st, to match all online gifts dollar for dollar. That’s less than 36 hours from now.

3. You can help us get a head start on our Giving Tuesday goal by donating your early 2X-matched gift right here: [link removed]

As the only organization solely dedicated to defending the separation of church and state, we are relying on your support to repair the damage done by the Trump administration, to protect against further damage before the transition, and to convince the Biden-Harris administration to prioritize religious freedom.

With so much at stake, I hope you will donate an early matched gift to support religious freedom on Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is one of our most important days for generating the support that makes AU’s work possible. These next 36 hours are critical.

Thank you for your generosity and support.

Lisa French
Director of Individual Giving

Online contributions will be matched through December 1, 2020, up to a limit of $50,000. All gifts made in excess of this limit will still provide valuable funding for AU’s efforts to defend church-state separation.
