Happening this week: Calling and writing to demand senators protect access to birth control.

Get Involved!
Start Here:

Last week, Republican Senate leadership suddenly canceled a committee vote — they were afraid to take a stand on an amendment that would protect birth control from the Trump administration's attacks. Why are they afraid? These lawmakers know how unpopular and harmful their efforts to come between you and your health care really are.

While we have a pro-reproductive health majority in the House of Representatives, we need the Senate's support to get these protections passed. And we've got to do EVERYTHING in our power to make sure that happens.

Will you join us? Call Senator Mitch McConnell now to tell him to stop playing politics with reproductive health care, bring this bill to a vote, and protect access to birth control.

There is already a massive divide between who does and doesn't have health care in this country.

The gag rule will make this worse. #ProtectX

#GettingMeThrough
#GettingMeThrough this week is the entire community of Planned Parenthood supporters, champions, and advocates who have been raising their voices against the Trump administration’s gag rule since last year. One such member of this community is Marcela Howell, the founder and executive director of the National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda.

"The U.S. Senate must step up and step in to repeal the gag rule and restore funding to Title X providers, like Planned Parenthood," she wrote in an op-ed for Ms. Magazine. "Black women's health and lives are on the line."

Thanks for standing with us and speaking out, Marcela! You can read her full op‑ed piece here.
