Friend --

Giving Tuesday has begun! Well, in Guam, Australia, New Zealand and Samoa
at least.

As the day winds its way around the world and toward the USA, a wave of
generosity will help fuel and sustain charities and non-profits for the
year ahead -- especially important following such a challenging
fundraising year.

Across the world, the risks and threats we face are more interconnected
than ever before. From the pandemic to climate change to the refugee
crisis to an alarming decay in respect for democracy, diplomacy and
international law.

The good news: In less than two months, we’ll be served by a president who
understands these global problems require global leadership, and who is
committed to repairing the damage inflicted by Trump and building a new
vision for America’s role in the world.

[ [link removed] ]This Giving Tuesday, please consider a contribution to J Street to
kickstart our role in shaping this vision, and ensuring our pro-Israel,
pro-peace, diplomacy-first values lie at the heart of this new era of
American foreign policy.

As we move toward a post-Trump era, it’s imperative that Washington’s
elected officials and foreign policy professionals take this opportunity
for bold new steps forward on foreign policy, marked by fresh thinking and
grounded in a commitment to democracy, human rights and the pursuit of
peace.

On J Street’s issues, we must ensure Washington understands the need for
bold engagement to reenter the Iran nuclear deal, to confront the
occupation, to work toward an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and
to secure Israel’s long-term future as a truly democratic homeland for the
Jewish people. Perhaps just as importantly, we must ensure our political
leaders have the political space and the political support to pursue these
key priorities.

Friend, our work in 2021 will require focused and sustained
movement-building, advocacy and engagement -- in our communities, in the
national debate and in the corridors of power.

[ [link removed] ]This week, as we take stock of our resources after a challenging
financial year, your contribution to our work in 2021 will be appreciated
more than ever. And thanks to the generosity of some of our donors, your
gift will also be matched. Please chip in >>

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Yours,

Jess Smith

Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the Jewish people.
Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we advocate policies that
advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish and democratic values,
leading to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
