John, Democrats are coming for our guns. One Democrat didn't mince words during the 3rd Democratic Presidential Debate when he said "Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15, AK-47" rifles. John –statements like this are a direct threat to the continuation of our Democracy. Politicians and government officials who share similar views must be held accountable. Democrats are fundamentally trying to take away our 2nd Amendment liberties, and it's as wrong as it gets. There is a reason the 2nd Amendment is right next to the first –it's pretty darn important. While Democrats have tried to pass legislation watering down the 2nd Amendment for decades, this statement is a testament to how dogged Democrats have become in their pursuit to confiscate our firearms. Since they took back the House in January, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee have made it a priority to pass legislation punishing American citizens for crimes they "might" commit in the future, violating our 2nd Amendment liberties, property rights and due process, all before someone has done anything wrong! It's hugely problematic to say that someone might do something bad in the future, therefore we're going to take a fundamental liberty away from them. John - the actions being taken by Democrats in the House are tyrannical and must not be allowed to move forward. We have to stop them. Please take a moment to sign my petition today to let me know that you stand with me in pursuit of protecting our right to bear arms –at all costs. We've been fighting this battle since the founding of this country –and as defenders of liberty, we must be prepared to continue fighting the good fight –against any like-minded Democrats who would take away our right to defend ourselves against tyranny.
