You have to fight your legal battles alone.
People in our city have had a challenging year to say the least. We are worried about our health, jobs, loved ones, and safety. Last night's Hot Seat Debate on WDSU perfectly illustrated the problem Jason Williams' 11-count fraud-indictment poses. It is a distraction our residents do not not need right now.

KEVA: IT TELLS YOU THE FACT THAT YOU ARE VERY INEXPERIENCED ABOUT THE ENTIRETY AND THE EXTREMENESS OF THE WORK OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY.

JASON: THIS IS WHY SHE HAS TAKEN AWAY ANY PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE AWAY.

KEVA: YOU CONTINUE TO DEFINE YOURSELF AS A VICTIM. YOU'RE ASKING THE CITIZENS OF NEW ORLEANS TO BE EMBATTLED IN YOUR LEGAL BATTLE WHICH IS SELFISH. THIS IS NOT OUR BATTLE TO FIGHT WITH YOU. YOU HAVE EVERY PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE BUT YOU SHOULD FIGHT THAT BATTLE ALONE.

Keva Landrum has said she will be 100% dedicated to serving as District Attorney. In addition to the distraction of his own criminal defense, Jason Williams has said he will continue his law practice. Folks, being District Attorney is not a part-time job.

As a former Interim District Attorney and Chief Judge at Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, Keva Landrum has the experience to be our city's top prosecutor on Day 1. Jason Williams has never prosecuted a single case.
