Personally Speaking: Leading for Our Loved Ones Hello John, Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday. On the day before this international day of giving, we are excited to share with you the eighth Personally Speaking blog in our 12-part series of staff stories. This week’s blog was written by Executive Director John Snook. In his blog, John shares the story of how he found the Treatment Advocacy Center as a “help call” when one of his loved ones suffered a psychotic break. The Treatment Advocacy Center was able to help John come up with a plan to find his loved one and navigate the mental health care system. For John, his work is personal. As he writes in his blog, “I know the impact TAC can have during the most difficult moments in a person’s life and that is why I am so proud to lead this organization during this urgent time.” We know that for you, this work is personal, too. To help us continue fighting to eliminate the barriers to treatment for people with severe mental illness, make a donation to the Treatment Advocacy Center this Giving Tuesday (or today if you’d prefer). Thank you for your support.
