** John, AN APPEAL TO YOU FOR GIVING TUESDAY

MCN has made responding to our community's needs during COVID-19 a priority for our organization. The Muslim community, minority, communities of color have been the hardest hit populations in our city. As we've gathered evidence on the needs, we launched our COVID-19 Hotline to reach the most vulnerable populations, including the undocumented, those with a lack of technology, and language barriers. Reports from our hotline show that New Yorkers are having a hard time just keeping up with the most basic expenses, hence, we've been providing direct cash-assistance. On top of this, we've made every attempt to provide food access; provide meaningful engagement with our youth, and engage key stakeholders in advocating for our needs. For this Thanksgiving, we were able to provide 240 halal thanksgiving meals to our community! See pictures below.

NOW, WE NEED YOU!

MCN needs to raise $20,000 by the end of the year to make up for the city budget cuts we've endured during this time. Even with the budget cuts, we remained unwavering in our commitment to serving our communities.

#GivingTuesday is a national day of giving to our favorite charities. Will you make MCN a charity that you care for? There are many ways to give and a gift of any amount goes a long way in supporting small organizational like ours.

2. Create your own personal Facebook fundraiser for us to help us reach your network and tell them about our great work. You can create your fundraiser by creating a post and then clicking, Raise Money. Choose Mcn as your chosen nonprofit.

4. Ask your employer about a giving program through which you can give to MCN and get your gift matched!
