On August 25, Claudia tested positive for COVID-19 and in the flurry of isolating, getting cleaning supplies, and groceries, her sons and daughter all tested positive too. She had to stop working - which meant no money for prescriptions or food. Claudia ended up in the hospital and afraid for her family. “Everything was chaotic,” she said.

From her hospital bed, Claudia applied for an award from the Freedom Network USA Human Trafficking Survivor Relief Fund and was immediately issued financial help. Without the grant, her children would have gone hungry … and her daughter wouldn’t have had the antibiotics she needed to treat her COVID-induced pneumonia.
With record setting requests for help, the fund is running low. So far, we’ve provided emergency relief to over 150 survivors of human trafficking. Right now, we only have funds available for 10 more people - but given the rise in COVID-19 cases - we are expecting more than 40 survivors to apply. So your emergency gift to the Survivor Relief Fund right now is urgently needed.
