When the Slippery Slope Becomes Greased Lightening
When the US Supreme Court legally redefined marriage and forced same-sex marriage on the entire country, often over the expressed will of the people, as in Wisconsin when we solidly passed our marriage amendment, the slippery slope became greased lightning. Tragically, the best interest of and the real needs of children have once again been sacrificed on the altar of adult desires.
"When biology isn’t the basis for parenthood, it’s a major power grab for the state. A case currently before the Supreme Court has the potential to either strengthen or degrade every parent-child relationship in the country." Read "How Same-Sex Marriage Creates a Court-Mediated Market for Orphans" HERE.

Breakfast Time as Family Time
Studies have long shown that eating as a family brings with it a cornucopia of benefits, ranging from decreasing a child’s risk for obesity, eating disorders, drug and alcohol use, depression and teen pregnancy, to improving their academic performance, eating habits, self-esteem and resilience. Mostly, however, this research has been based on families who have dinner together, which researchers find is still the preferred option.
The truth is it probably doesn’t really matter which meal you eat together as a family; what’s important is that you purposefully, intentionally make time for a family meal at least once a day. This shouldn’t be an option. It needs to be a big enough deal that everyone knows they must show up for that family time. The benefits are too great not to make this a high priority.

New Scientific Developments Push Ethical Line
Scientists have invented a device that can quickly produce large numbers of living entities that resemble very primitive human embryos, but the development is raising questions about where we draw the line in manufacturing synthetic human life. A longstanding guideline bars scientists from conducting research on embryos in their labs the first few weeks after a sperm fertilizes an egg when the embryo is inside a woman's body and is hard to study. This pushes that line.

Julaine Appling, WFA president, says, "This is dangerous territory for science and really for all of us. Science does not have a moral imperative to do whatever it can do, regardless of moral or ethical concerns. One major concern we have with this procedure is using human embryonic stem cells in some cases to produce these embryoids. Those cells can only be harvested by destroying a human embryo—and that’s not acceptable."

Google Didn't Doodle
Every day Google search engine has what is known as a "Google Doodle." A Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google's homepages intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements, and notable historical figures. (source: Wikipedia). On this week's September 17 celebration of Constitution Day, however, Google failed to produce a Google Doodle that recognized this historical date.
PragerU responds: "How is America to be defined? By its failures or its triumphs? Today, there seems to be an obsession with the former and a dismissal of the latter. Is this dark vision of the freest and most prosperous nation on earth an accurate narrative or a cynical distortion? James Robbins, columnist for USA Today and author of 'Erasing America,' considers that question in THIS VIDEO. How we view America's past will very much shape America's future."
