We are in a transition period now at Arlington Young Democrats as we have just recently elected a new executive board. First point of business: congratulations once again to our E-Board - elects!

As some may already know, the Arlington Young Democrats have 6 appointed positions according to our constitution. [[link removed]] These positions are appointed to the Executive Board by the President, Vice President, and Membership Director. And they are:

Recruitment Director
Retention Director

As we do every year, we still plan on having our AYD Holiday Brunch. However, we will unfortunately not be able to be in person this year but we will be convening over Zoom. We may not be able to meet for brunch at one of our local establishments, but we encourage all of those who chose to attend to order from a local restaurant! Over Zoom, we will swear in the 2021 E-Board and announce the winners of the yearly awards. Nominations for these awards are open until December 7 at 11:59 PM! [[link removed]]

Campaigner of the Year (for outstanding commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ballot)

2020 Member of the Year (for leadership, dedication, excellence, and distinction in service to the Young Democrat community and the party)
Honorable Warren G. Stambaugh Outstanding Democrat of the Year (for significant contributions and outstanding dedication to the Democratic Party)
