John -- around 23,000 Georgians who weren’t old enough to vote in the presidential election earlier this month will be eligible to vote in the upcoming Georgia runoff elections.
Young voters could determine the outcome of the runoffs, and that means they could decide control of the Senate.
Turnout among young voters in 2020 was up more than 10% from 2016, playing a key role in stopping Donald Trump from winning another four years in the White House.
And young voters made up 20% of voter turnout in Georgia this year, the highest of any state and essential to turning the state blue for the first time in decades.
Young voters stopped Trump in 2020, and now, they could stop Republican control of the Senate.
We’re making calls and sending texts to help Georgians register to vote, sign up for mail-in ballots, and return their ballots on time to be counted in the runoffs.
Thanks,
Carlos
