I’m Andrew’s campaign chair, and I need a favor.

Andrew just asked me to check the numbers and see if we’re on track to
reach our fundraising goal by Sept. 30—the most important deadline we’ve
faced all year.

This has been a huge month in the Colorado Senate race. Here are some of
the highlights:

* Andrew has now earned endorsements from more than 300 state and local
officials—10 times as many as all the other Democratic candidates
combined.
* Three top candidates dropped out, enabling us to expand our
coalition. 
* The national party’s attempt to sabotage our campaign backfired,
prompting a wave of support from across the country.

These are all good signs. But as Andrew’s campaign chair, I have to be
realistic: we’re simply not raising enough money to sustain our momentum.
