The 2020 elections may be over, but the 2021 election in Virginia is less than one year away! Next November Virginians will vote for their representatives in the House of Delegates in addition to deciding who will be our next governor.

Virginians already have a number of options to decide between for our next governor:

• Option 1: Former Virginia House Speaker Kirk Cox, who vowed to repeal reproductive rights; supported a right to discriminate against LGBTQ Virginians; blocked attempts to raise the minimum wage; and canceled a special session on gun violence after just 90 minutes without hearing a single bill.
• Option 2: State Senator Amanda Chase, who called for more guns in public areas after the mass shootings in El Paso, TX and Dayton, OH; said the Equal Rights Amendment is "nothing more than a ploy by the left to eliminate gender altogether;" and has attacked common sense measures to keep Virginians safe from the coronavirus pandemic, claiming “I don’t do COVID.”
• Option 3: Any number of excellent Democratic candidates! No matter who wins the Democratic nomination for governor, all of them support protecting and expanding the progress we’ve made on health care, gun violence, LGBTQ rights, climate change, and more.

Kirk Cox and Amanda Chase are too extreme for Virginia. Pitch in to help us keep them out of the governor’s office and keep Virginia BLUE next November!
