Dear Friends, As we gather together with our loved ones — virtually, in-person or in spirit — let me wish you a healthy and happy holiday season. I recognize that many of you have lost loved ones this year. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time in our nation. During times like these, I'm always comforted to think of our history, and the progress we've made as a country. We owe this to our democratic system, where every legally casted vote is counted. And now that the Orange County election results have been finalized, I thank you for your supporting my reelection to represent California's 46th Congressional District. As our country faces a global pandemic and associated economic uncertainty, I will continue moving forward by working with Republicans and Democrats alike to solve the most pressing issues that we are facing in Orange County and in the United States. It is my hope and prayer that we continue with a peaceful transition of power at the Presidential level. It is time to heal, it is time for unity and cooperation. We can overcome the pandemic, help small businesses thrive, expand the middle class, and protect our dreamers and provide pathways to citizenship. It is time to help our families by providing state and local governments necessary funding to enable our kids to safely learn in school, provide affordable health care options and improve access to prescription drugs.
