The president of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin even praised Dr. Murthy’s appointment, citing that it “comes at a time when the country is deeply divided on various fronts.”
Now, some are even calling for Dr. Murthy to join Biden’s Cabinet, potentially as Secretary of Health and Human Services.
