Friends,
Over the course of this past election cycle, I told you again and again that we wouldn't let a single donation go to waste.
And I meant it. Whether it was paying our staffers, sending out mailers, or running ads until the last possible second, every dollar raised by our campaign went towards our people-powered effort to defend this battleground seat this November.
But in the age of Citizens United, where House members need to start raising funds for the next cycle as soon as they're elected, what starting from scratch really means is that we're already behind.
We need to be ready for 2022 now -- which is why our team has set an aggressive goal to raise $5,000 online before the end of the month. I know you might be burnt out from 2020 -- but if you're able to, will you pitch in $10, $15, $25 or whatever you can to help us rebuild our campaign war chest?

The road to an Election Night victory is a marathon, not a sprint. Your contribution in these early days will be crucial to laying the foundation our grassroots operation needs to come out of the gate strong and stay ahead in this battleground district.
Thank you,
Sean Casten
