Particularly as we head into the final stretch of 2020, we’re counting on your support to ensure that we can start 2021 strong and keep building a better, stronger, and more resilient Canada.
Friend, a question I’m asked often is “Where does my donation go?”
The answer is quite simple, and really important. Grassroots donations ensure that our teams of organizers and volunteers have all of the tools, training, and resources needed to run competitive campaigns whenever required – and to get our message out to even more Canadians when it really counts. This includes campaigns like the by-elections we had this fall in Toronto Centre and York Centre, when we elected Marci Ien and Ya’ara Saks as our newest Liberal MPs!
And beyond that, it also helps ensure our Liberal team can continue connecting with more Canadians in our hugely-successful Virtual Weekends of Action, and building on vital democratic engagement like our open policy development process and our upcoming Liberal National Convention in April 2021.
That’s why I wanted to personally reach out ahead of our end-of-November online fundraising deadline to tell you a little bit about how your donation can help support the work that we’re doing together.
One key thing to remember is all contributions made to LPC are eligible to receive up to 75% back in tax credits – and you only have until the end December to claim yours for 2020!
A great way to donate both locally and nationally is to join the Victory Fund. Your custom monthly donation is split between the national campaign and the riding of your choice.
Another way that thousands of Canadians choose to support our work each year is by making a one-time donation (or a few one-time donations!). Particularly as we head into the final stretch of 2020, we’re counting on your support to ensure that we can start 2021 strong and keep building a better, stronger, and more resilient Canada.
If you’re able, chip in now before our November online fundraising deadline to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team’s work to keep Canada moving forward.
