Mitch McConnell had this to say after weeks of Trump’s administration stonewalling Biden’s attempts to access information necessary for the presidential transition: “We’re going to have an orderly transfer from this administration to the next one. What we all say about it is, frankly, irrelevant.”
REALLY, Mitch McConnell?!
Let’s get this straight, Mitch. You’re promising an orderly transition to the next president -- but you can’t even say who that president is?
You think your words, as the most powerful man in Congress, are irrelevant? You don’t think you could help the transition along by admitting that Biden won and that Trump lost and maybe even -- in our wildest dreams -- congratulating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for their historic victory and saying you’ll do your best to work with them for the good of the country?
No -- apparently you won’t do that, Mitch.
