Africa & Europe
- Pray for survivors of trafficking in Romania who are struggling with the current economic situation. Additionally, many rural parts of the country lack services for survivors — pray as the IJM team works to develop contacts and partnerships that will be able to support survivors on their road to recovery.
Latin America
- Praise God for a week to commemorate in the Dominican Republic! A few weeks ago we asked you to continue praying for momentum in the fight to protect children from being forced into child marriage or early unions. Last week three key Dominican government officials took strong stances against it. The country's president announced that his government will have a zero-tolerance attitude toward child marriage and early unions, and in the same week, the House of Representatives unanimously approved changes to two articles in the Civil Code that currently create a loophole for it.

South Asia
- Please pray for a number of court cases that have stalled due to COVID-19 shutdowns. In-person courts have been shut down in many cities where we work, which makes it very hard to have hearings and move cases forward. For people in poverty, this means justice will be delayed even longer. Please continue to pray for an end to the pandemic and for short-term solutions that will keep trials on track, so survivors can get justice and move forward with their lives.
Southeast Asia
- Praise God for a successful virtual summit with the Philippine government about The Global Resolve Against Online Sexual Exploitation of Children. The three-day summit highlighted the experience of the Philippine government in combatting sexual exploitation of children, drawing out lessons learned and effective tactics that can help inform global efforts to end this form of violence. Pray for continued international collaboration and innovation among government and technology experts so we can end this abuse globally.
