Join in a global day of giving this Tuesday!

Dear Friend,

This Tuesday is Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving where we are asked to support causes we believe in.

We ask that you give generously ([link removed]) to USCRI on Giving Tuesday. Your gift will help children like Recica and Elson (below) achieve the bright futures they deserve.

"Five years ago, we both arrived in Erie, Pennsylvania as refugees. We like the after school program at USCRI Erie, and our favorite game is 'Connect Four'. Our instructors have shared many lessons about life in the United States, but the most important one has been about kindness and being nice to other people, such as our neighbors and our friends on the basketball court.

Now, we also come here for remote schooling because of COVID-19. USCRI Erie helps us to get school supplies and WiFi for our remote classes. We have big dreams for the future—to be a nurse and a sports star—but if we could do one thing for the United States right now, it would be to stop the coronavirus!"

- Recica (age 12, from Bhutan) and Elson (age 11, from the Democratic Republic of Congo)

Your gift on Giving Tuesday can make a huge difference for children like Recica and Elson. When a child arrives in the U.S., they can be frightened and overwhelmed. Your support will provide them with a helping hand and a team of caring professionals by their side as they build a new life.

It takes a nation to make sure that our children can grow up to reach their amazing potential. That nation starts with you.

Can't wait until Tuesday to give? Feel free to donate today ([link removed]) ! Thank you!
