Dear John,
This weekend, many of us will spend our time making holiday lists and searching for gifts. Please take just a few moments to give something special this upcoming #GivingTuesday: hope for the millions of people and families whose lives are affected by Alzheimer's disease.
People impacted by Alzheimer's need our support now more than ever — as so many in our community adapt to the changes COVID-19 brings to an already potentially stressful holiday season. Your gift can provide care for the more than 5 million people living with Alzheimer's, support their 16 million caregivers and help advance research to protect future generations.
Through this challenge, Cheryl Gross, a longtime supporter and member of our Zenith Society, pledges to match every gift up to $650,000 — but only if we can raise the same amount by midnight on December 31. Her gift will advance the technology that powers our global research efforts and our care and support programs. Cheryl has made this amazing pledge to honor of her beloved mother, Nadine, who battled with Alzheimer's for the last 10 years of her life before she sadly passed away in 2011.
This #GivingTuesday, we need you to join with us to reach our goal and unlock $650,000 in matching gift funds, which will mean so much in the fight to end Alzheimer's.
John, please hurry while you can still have 2X the impact to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Thank you for fighting to end Alzheimer's,
Donna McCullough
Chief Field and Development Officer
P.S. This is a special occasion, so I hope you'll help us get closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Please give today while your gift can have twice the impact.
