Losing even one of these two runoff races means Mitch McConnell will have a stranglehold over the Biden-Harris administration, blocking the progress America needs so desperately.

Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are running smart campaigns but they’ve got two major challenges:

The first: turnout tends to drop in runoff elections. They’re going to need historic levels of grassroots support to maintain the turnout that let Joe Biden flip Georgia blue at the presidential level.

The second: Mitch McConnell and his mega-donor friends are spending millions to blanket the airwaves with baseless and divisive attack ads.

Look, these races won’t be easy to win – but as Joe Biden proved earlier this month, Georgia is up for grabs. But Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff need unprecedented levels of grassroots support from around the country to win their races.
