Bloomberg News: "President Donald Trump will seek 'decertification' of Pennsylvania's election result."

Trump's legal team has already taken steps to do just that, filing an emergency motion with Philadelphia's 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. According to POLITICO, the motion asserts that "election officials excluded observers as part of an effort to process thousands of flawed mail-in ballots that largely favored Biden" and indicates that "the campaign might seek decertification of the results.'"

The good news is that judges across the country are dealing the Trump campaign defeats left and right. Just recently, U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann called the Trump team's efforts "strained arguments... and speculative accusations." We couldn't agree more.

But it's troubling that this is in the courts at al. And, according to Bloomberg, Trump is now claiming that he has until December 8 (the date by which states must choose their electors) to decertify Pennsylvania's results. There's no doubt he'll keep trying all the way until then. After all, Trump may eventually find himself a favorable judge -- he's appointed a few hundred of them.

We need to be prepared for a few different outcomes: Like that Trump succeeds in court, or that he fails to overturn the election but does an incredible amount of harm to our democracy and to the American people's trust in Joe Biden's legitimate presidency. Both will require a massive expenditure of resources on our part if we want to protect the results of the election, fight against the unspeakable horror of a second Trump term, and help President Biden accomplish his agenda after Trump has done everything possible to cast doubt on his successor.
