Hi there,
An op-ed published in Kentucky's Courier-Journal called Mitch McConnell "Kentucky's most popular politician in modern history."
As evidence, the piece pointed to how McConnell "won the suburbs and rural areas. He carried 18- to 24-year-olds and senior citizens. He carried 90% of Republicans and nearly half of independents. He won 15% of Black voters, far higher than your typical Republican. He won people who make more than $100,000, and people who make less than that. He won 56% of men and 59% of women ... People like voting for McConnell."
If you don't live in Kentucky, then there's nothing you can do to help counteract this narrative of Mitch McConnell as a hometown hero -- even though we know he's an obstructionist, anti-progress, anti-health care partisan who thrives on blocking Democrats and raking in dark money.
Nothing you can do, of course, except make your voice heard now and let whoever wrote this glowing McConnell op-ed know just how wrong they are.
Do you approve of Mitch McConnell?
