Over the years, pangolins in Asia have been slaughtered for their scales. Now, criminal gangs who exploit wildlife for profit have moved in on African pangolins, and they are suffering the same fate.

These unique animals, which play an essential role in their ecosystem, are being killed for profit in huge numbers. They are now on the brink of extinction.

Thanks to your support, EIA launched our pangolin campaign in 2018. Our undercover investigators are on the trail of the traffickers behind this brutal trade.
