As Jamaal focuses on getting ready for his first term in Congress — meeting with constituents and community leaders, and getting ready to legislate — it's one of my jobs to make sure that he has the financial resources to serve this district and its constituents as best he can.
A big part of that means sustained resources: to continue our on-the-ground community organizing, to pay our staff, and most importantly, to build the progressive movement — even outside of an election year.
This continued commitment to community and movement building is one of the things that makes our campaign special, but we can't keep it going without you. Because the more our operation continues to grow, the more expensive it becomes to maintain at its current level.
Right now, only a small percentage of our supporters make a monthly sustaining contribution — but monthly contributions are the best way to help us grow our progressive movement.
