** Statement On The Pardoning Of General Flynn
------------------------------------------------------------

The New York Young Republican Club applauds President Donald J. Trump for issuing a full pardon to General Michael T. Flynn. General Flynn is an American hero who has served the United States of America with distinction for decades in both military and civilian service.

The FBI set out on a political mission to attack General Flynn, misrepresent him, and malign his character. President Trump’s exercise of his pardon power to abrogate the outcome of this inherently flawed investigation rights a massive wrong. President Trump, in issuing this pardon, has continued his campaign to ensure more equitable justice within the federal court system, and he has helped to rehabilitate the reputation of a great American subjected to irresponsible attacks from the fake news media and Radical Left members of Congress.

Today and every day, we know that the arc of the universe aims itself towards justice and fairness. We know that General Flynn’s character merits reward, and we recall the Book of Jeremiah:

And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.

The New York Young Republican Club is honored to announce Conservative Icon, Former Vice Presidential Candidate & Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin as the keynote speaker for our upcoming 108th Annual Gala. Join us and guest speaker James O'Keefe of Project Veritas on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020, at 6pm. The program will include a cocktail reception followed by an awards ceremony, State of the Club address, and three-course seated dinner. A premium open bar will be available throughout the event. ** Deployment To Georgia To Save The Senate!
------------------------------------------------------------
This much is clear: we must save the Senate to save America. To do this, we are invading Georgia with a full-on assault by Young Republicans – the stakes are too high for us to do anything less.

On December 31st through January 3rd, we will be joining the Young Republican National Deployment into the Atlanta metro area to protect the Senate Republican majority. Control of the United States Senate runs through Georgia, and we will knock on every door until Senator Perdue and Senator Loeffler are sent back to DC and our Republican Senate majority is secured.

This is going to be an exciting weekend with friends and fellow conservatives fighting to save the senate and save America from the radical left. Here is the sign-up link ([link removed][UNIQID]) . For those who are not able to deploy in-person, we will be hosting a national phone bank to support our efforts for the Georgia runoff election, so please stay tuned for more information.

While we want as many Young Republicans to deploy with us as we can muster, space is limited and hotel rooms will be first-come, first-serve. Due to intense interest in this deployment, only active Club members (those on our membership rolls) will be able to reserve a hotel room. As part of this deployment, lodging and meals will be provided for those who properly register and are subsequently confirmed as participants in this deployment. Let’s block the tax hikes, court-packing, green new deal, and liberal judges. After more than 20 million voter contacts, the Young Republicans worked too hard to save this country and we will not give up now — this is when we strike back hard. We are deploying Young Republicans to Georgia to knock on doors, make calls and convince voters to save America by electing Senator Perdue and Senator Loeffler to the United States Senate.

** Supporting Our Veterans!
------------------------------------------------------------
This year for Veteran's Day, our goal is to raise funds for Homes for Veterans, a local 501(c)(3) non profit organization. They launched a "Covid Care Package" program during the pandemic, dropping cases of essential items to local Veteran facilities. This program is in addition to their normal work, renovating the homes of disabled veterans to create barrier-free living, at no cost to the veterans.

Homes for Veterans will purchase essential items for the Manhattan VA Medical Center (423 East 23rd Street) with the funds raised. Items include: socks, underwear, t-shirts, sanitary napkins, razors, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, and/or ear savers (for back of masks). This drop will service approximately 200 veterans.

The NYYRC would like to raise $500-$1000, and Homes for Veterans will match the NYYRC's donation by November 30th.
