That’s what Donald Trump recently told his followers. It’s no surprise that millions of Americans now think the election is unfair. They’re getting their misinformation straight from the White House.
We cannot maintain our democracy if both sides aren’t willing to accept the basic reality of the outcome of an election. And a significant chunk of the Republicans who don’t trust the election results now expect them to be overturned. We can’t have half the population throwing a temper tantrum to get what they want -- especially if what they want is four more years of Trump.
