Friend of Israel,

AIPAC and the pro-Israel community have much to be thankful for this year.

In the past three months alone, the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan normalized relations with Israel—paving the path to peace and marking the beginning of a new era in Israeli-Arab relations. The peace agreements are monumental achievements made possible by our work together.

With your support, we also worked to keep Israel safe. The House passed the full $3.3 billion in U.S. security assistance to Israel and $500 million for U.S.-Israel missile defense cooperation. This critical assistance ensures that our ally has the resources needed to defend itself by itself.

Congress also encouraged continued support for Israel against illegitimate attacks at the International Criminal Court in letters to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signed by 69 Senators and 262 Representatives.

And this summer, the House allocated $4 million to create a new U.S.-Israel grant program to find solutions to COVID-19 and other health problems. AIPAC members worked closely with Congress to build support for this initiative and chart a path to push it forward.

But despite these great strides, our work to strengthen the vital U.S.-Israel relationship is far from over, and the threats to Israel are not going away.

As you enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you will take a moment to show your support and help us continue our important work.
