SEPTEMBER 19, 2019: Ten percent (10%) of American adults have mistakenly sent an embarrassing photo to the wrong person. A ScottRasmussen.com national survey ([link removed]) also found that 26% have done the same with an embarrassing text.[1] ([link removed])

These mistakes are much more common among younger adults. Nearly a quarter (23%) of adults under 35 have sent an embarrassing photo to the wrong person. Fewer than one-half of one percent of senior citizens have had that unfortunate experience.
