*The starting salary is 22,183 (Level one) rising to 23,541(Level 2) on the first year anniversary, subject to satifactory completion of a probation period. Once qualified as a Children's wellbeing practitioner, by successfully completing the year of training with Northampton,this role will progress as a qualified CWP topay grade F. *

*We are looking for two Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practioners.*

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mental Health Support Teams in Nottingham City as a Trainee Children's wellbeing practitioner,the post involves studying atthe University of Northampton and working clinically in Nottingham City. You will offer brieflow intensity basedinterventionsfor Children and young People experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression and/or conduct. You will beoffering this supportwithineducational provisions that are engaged in the MHSTtrailblazer project. You will also have the opportunity to work with the team todeliver evidenced based group interventions to support the educational communitieis that we areworking with. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in both assessment and interventions and you will receive clinical and caseload supervision to support you with this.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about children, young people and their familes and really making a difference to their lives, for someone who can be part of a team and can bring enthusiasm and developments into psychological practice. In return we can offer a welcoming and supportive team.

*ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*
Undergraduate degree in relevant area e.g. psychology orhealth andsocialcare
Experience of working with Children and Young People and their families
Evidence of working with children and young peoplewith mental health difficulties
Abilty to incorporate training into practice
Able to develop good therapeutic relationships with client
