Dear John,
Many thanks to all of you who supported me and the National Party
in the Papakura Electorate during the 2020 Election. It is really
exciting to have your mandate to be your Member of Parliament for
Papakura for another three years.
While the election result was disappointing for the National team,
I promise we will be back strong and winning in 2023. I have put
together a team of highly motivated people who have a wealth of
business and management experience.
My team will use their skills to monitor the actions of the
government in dealing with the Covid-19 virus and the consequent
economic problems that New Zealand will face over the next year or
two. We know we will be influential on these matters.
As well as holding the government to its promises, I will focus on
doing my best for my constituents as your MP for Papakura.
I thank you for all the supportive messages, cards, advice and
useful information that I received before the Election and since. I am
also grateful for all the practical help that I received from so many
of you who volunteered during the Election. It is really heart-warming
to know that so many of you are passionate about the National Party
and its need to be a force for promoting prosperity and the practical
management of our country through our New Zealand Parliament.
Papakura High School Senior Prize-giving 2020
I congratulate all the students at Papakura High School who
received prizes and awards for their efforts at the School in what has
been a very challenging year.
In 2020 the Dux of Papakura High School was Sahar Sheik Freed.
It is always great to know that a student at Papakura High School
has been awarded the Judith Collins Cup for Leadership too.
This year was no exception as Catherine Armstrong won the Cup and
she was also awarded the Proxime Accessit.
I congratulate these two young people on their achievements that
acknowledge the hard work they have put in over their years at the
School.
I would also take this opportunity to thank the retiring Principal
John Rohs for the wonderful work he has done leading Papakura High
School to produce some excellent results for the students and their
families during his years of service. I am sure the Community will
miss Mr Rohs. But I am also sure that he has left the School in a very
good position with excellent staff who will support his replacement
very professionally.
My very best wishes to all students who are leaving this year and
to the School and all students who will return in 2021.
My thanks to everyone in the Community who has supported education
at this School and at all the other Schools in the Papakura Electorate
this year,
As our thoughts turn to Christmas I hope to see you at the
Christmas Parade in Papakura on 6th December and leaving
from Central Park at 3pm.
Wishing you very well,
Hon Judith Collins http://judithcollins.national.org.nz/
