A year like 2020 makes us even more aware of how grateful we are for the Greens and allies we rely on every day. Our 2020 candidates, party leaders and organizers had to navigate a "perfect storm" of overlapping economic, social and political crises — and that was before the global pandemic hit.

But, against tremendous odds, they got through it — we all got through it — because of your support. Make no mistake: the power structure that sustains the two corporate parties sought to destroy us, this year. And they haven't stopped trying. But you didn't let them succeed. You won't let them succeed.

Because of you, the movement for Grassroots Democracy, Social Justice and Ecological Wisdom fights on. For that, we're eternally grateful. This year, we joined uprisings in the streets against racial injustice and police brutality, we won victories in court over draconian voter suppression and candidate suppression, and we fought for a just recovery from COVID-19 rooted in Improved Medicare-For-All and a Green New Deal to invest in public services and infrastructure while averting climate catastrophe.

We are reloading and rebuilding for 2021. A new generation is about to learn how woefully inadequate, when not downright insidious, the Democratic Party leadership is when they're in power. When moments like these develop, we have to be ready.

We have to make the best possible case for why the Green Party is essential to breaking the abusive cycle that starves oppressed people out of hoping for anything better than a "lesser evil."

We are so grateful for each of our Monthly Sustainers, who automatically donate every month to the Green Party. Their year-round support means we can run even more candidates with better training and preparation so they can compete for elected office and win.
