This Thanksgiving is unlike any other--many of us are isolated from friends and family due the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Friends, Happy Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving is unlike any other -- many of us are isolated from friends and family to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. I know it isn’t easy, but I want to personally thank you for making the sacrifices that will save lives.

Today, too many Americans will be facing an empty seat at the table due to gross mismanagement of this deadly pandemic. My heart and my prayers are with everyone mourning a loss.

Even as we reflect on this difficult year, we must remember there is still so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving -- the communities that have pulled together in trying times, the friends and family who are just a click away, and the simple joys of a delicious meal or a walk around the block.

I’m thankful for all our frontline healthcare workers, service workers, teachers, and other essential workers. These are the heroes of this pandemic and our country owes them so much for their bravery and strength in helping us weather this pandemic.

I’m also thankful for you, and the rest of Team Connolly, for your commitment to maintaining and strengthening our democracy. Every dollar donated, every hour volunteered, and every vote was instrumental in helping me win my re-election bid, keeping Virginia blue, and sending Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House to begin rebuilding our nation. I am grateful to have you on my team, friend.
